Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
We would like the whole melee system reworked so it has a better feel to it when it's used.
In the short term, changing how the punch and kick works to allow for more consistent hits by doing damage to any actor within a certain distance instead of on component overlap.
In the long term, we would need new animations or a better blend method so the player can still move while using melee. Currently, the player is stopped when they use melee because the animations don't blend well together.
